- Intended mothers who are unable to produce healthy eggs due to early menopause, diminished ovarian reserve, genetic conditions, certain medical treatments, or previous surgeries.
- Women who are unable to carry a pregnancy — including those withcongenital absence of the uterus or anatomical uterine abnormalities (such as Rokitansky syndrome and other anomalies), as well as those who have undergone a hysterectomy.
- Couples who have experienced multiple unsuccessful IVF attempts using their own eggs and wish to improve their chances of success.
Surrogacy and Egg Donation Law in Georgia
Eligibility: Surrogacy and egg donation are legally permitted in Georgia for heterosexual married couples or for heterosexual couples who have lived together for at least one year and can provide official proof of cohabitation.
Birth Certificate: Under Georgian law, when a child is born through surrogacy, the intended parents are listed as the child’s only legal parents on the birth certificate. Neither the surrogate mother nor the egg donor has any parental rights, and their names do not appear on the certificate.

Choosing an Egg Donor
All egg donors at Reproart are recruited and screened through our in-house donor agency. Each candidate completes a medical questionnaire, undergoes thorough health screening, and is reviewed by our clinical team before being added to our database.
You will have access to regularly updated donor profiles, including family and medical history, recent natural photos, and key personal traits. Our database includes donors of Caucasian and other diverse backgrounds. If needed, we also work with international donor banks to find specific matches.

Surrogate Selection
Surrogates at Reproart are Georgian women between the ages of 21 and 41 who have given birth to at least one healthy child. All surrogate candidates complete a full medical screening, including blood work, ultrasound, infectious disease testing, and general health evaluation. Once approved, they are matched with intended parents and supported throughout the program.
Surrogate Support: Each surrogate is assigned a personal care manager who provides ongoing guidance and emotional support. A dedicated care team is available 24/7 to answer questions and coordinate appointments. Medical, legal, and organizational support continues throughout pregnancy and after delivery. Her rights, health, and wellbeing are fully protected under Georgian law and Reproart’s internal safeguarding policies.
